LEGACIES

Jan 10 Thank you for the generous donation in memory of Elizabeth Harvey nee Binks. Younger sister of our lovely Jack. Elizabeth used to work at the Nightingale Centre as a young girl when her mum was cook and had her wedding reception here. Elizabeth had many fond memories of Hucklow and was here helping Jack with his stall at Open Day. We will use the donation to by a much needed Industrial Hoover.
Dec 09 Thank you for the generous donation in memory of Elgar Petch of Chorlton & Bury. Elgar was a longstanding, well known and much loved regular visitor and supporter of the Centre. She is sorely missed by all her friends here. We are purchasing desperately needed bedroom mirrors which we know will delight many of you.
Oct 09 Trustees of Sir C.C.Grundy, Cross Street Chapel for their kind donation towards new bedspreads throughout the Centre. Apart from looking good they will help keep everyone cosy especially as winter approaches. There have been some difficulties with the heating system recently when they would have been warmly welcomed.
Sept 09 With grateful thanks in memory of Nora and Ralph Mountain formerly of Upper Chapel via their daughters. Elena says her parents were very practical people and would be pleased to know that the new blue and green chairs were being used and appreciated. Regular visitors will know just how much the Hibbert Room needed them.
Sept 09 In memory of Mary Rimmington, Hull Unitarian Church. Mary was a regular attender of Unitarian Experience Week, a new bench to replace the badly broken one for our rear garden. It looks very nice indeed.
