The Centre

The Centre is registered as a charity under its formal name "The Unitarian Convalescent and Holiday Centre" at Great Hucklow and was established on its present site in 1931.

Tens of thousands of people of all ages have, over the years, enjoyed holidays and conferences at the Centre. Many people come back year after year to soak up the special atmosphere and enjoy the wonderful surrounding counfryside To visitors, the Centre has never been known by its official name, or even the various trading names that have been used.
